Research Positions at the National University of Singapore in the area of Wireless Body Area Networking
Applications are invited for the positions of Research Fellow and Research Engineer in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the National University of Singapore (NUS). The duration of the appointment is one to two years. Successful applicants will receive a competitive remuneration package.
Description:
We are looking for two outstanding candidates to join our team to carry out applied and theoretical research, in the areas of ad hoc and sensor networks. The ideal candidates should have prior experience in designing wireless network architectures and protocols, as well as performance analysis. The general research area is Wireless Body Area Networks. You will be working on the development of a low-power network protocol stack. Experience with TinyOS and sensor devices is a big plus.
Requirements:
1) Ph.D. degree (for Postdoc position) and Bachelor's degree (for Research Engineer position) in Electrical/Electronic/Communications/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent, with specialization in Computer Networks, especially wireless ad hoc and sensor networks.
2) Must be innovative, resourceful, self motivated, and a team player.
